Whizz Kid Entertainment appoints Steven D Wright as Creative Director

Whizz Kid Entertainment is delighted to announce that Steven D. Wright is joining the company as Creative Director from February 4th 2013.

Recently named by Variety magazine as ‘one of the top 25 names in entertainment’, Steven D Wright has been in TV for 20 years and has several hundred prime-time programmes to his credit.

Steven was Creative Director of Shine Entertainment for six years and during that time was responsible for programmes including ‘The Story of Light Entertainment’ for BBC2, ‘The Truth About Take That’ and the ‘Modern Day Morality Tale’ for Channel 4. Prior to this Steven was Commissioning Editor of Factual Entertainment for Channel 4 before setting up Carbon Media under the ITV Studios umbrella. Steven is joining Whizz Kid Entertainment from JA Digital where he most recently delivered ’50 Shocking Facts About Diet and Exercise’ for Channel 5.

Steven will be reporting jointly to CEO Malcolm Gerrie and MD Lisa Chapman.
