Tracey has been the General Manager of Whizz Kid Entertainment since it was founded and is a senior member of the company carrying out a role that encompasses all office management, facilities, IT, HR, distribution co-ordination and production services. Tracey is also on the Business Affairs Board and takes an active role in corporate and talent relations and hospitality.
Tracey has been a long-standing colleague of CEO Malcolm Gerrie since they worked together in 1998 – starting as a personal assistant before becoming a project co-ordinator at Initial (part of Endemol UK). After freelancing in production roles for various other companies Tracey once again returned to working with Malcolm when he set up Whizz Kid.
Beginning her career in music radio – first at the industry’s membership body, The Radio Academy, then with two years at Radio 1, she then went on to become part of the launch team of London’s last FM radio station: Xfm. Tracey has kept her interest in the music industry going ever since and acts as Malcolm’s right-hand person in talent relations; negotiating the company’s music license deals and taking an active role during production on much of Whizz Kid’s music output.
