Celebrating the life of one of Britain’s best loved comedians, Sir Lenny Henry, the one-off special delves into the archives to showcase some of Lenny’s incredible work.
Spanning his 41 years in show business the programme includes from his early appearances on the Black and White Minstrel Show and New Faces, through to his instrumental roles in Tiswas and Comic Relief, right up to his present-day achievements.
The programme features interviews from people who have helped shape Lenny’s glittering career, including Richard Curtis OBE, Kim Fuller, Michael Grade, Sir Trevor McDonald and Chris Tarrant.
The programme features an in-depth interview with Lenny himself, in which he reflects on both his career and his personal life.
