Genevieve started her career in television at Hit Entertainment. She then went on to work for MTV Networks in 1994 where she was one of the launch team of VH1 UK. She oversaw all the comedy output on VH1 and Exec Produced Strutter with Paul Kaye for MTV.
In 2007 she went on to become Head of Development for Monkey Kingdom where she got a 6-part series commissioned on BBC2 about Daisy Lowe and her friends, called The Class of 2008 and a 65 x 5 min soap for BEBO called The Secret World of Sam King. After Monkey she went on to produce and Exec various shows for Princess, RDF, Live Nation, Sky, ITV and Channel 4 as well as returning to MTV.
She then moved to the BBC where she joined the Comedy Entertainment department developing and producing shows such as Goodbye Television Centre, The National Lottery Stars and All About Two. She joined the Whizz Kid Entertainment Development team in 2016 developing Comedy Entertainment formats. She also produced Lip Sync Battle, The BAFTA Television Awards and The BAFTA Film Awards.
During her career she has worked with many of the biggest names in television including Sir David Attenborough, Dara O’Briain, David Mitchell, Jimmy Carr, Robert Webb, Danny Dyer, Craig Revel-Horwood, Anna Friel, David Hasselhoff and many more.
